Privacy policy

Night Shift Studios operates the Materia website and Materia News newsletter.

Email signup

When you sign up, we collect your name and email address to send Materia development news and announcements. A confirmation email asks you to verify your address before your subscription becomes active.

We use phpList on our GoDaddy hosting account to manage subscriptions. It stores your subscription status and signup history, which can include timestamps, IP address and browser information. Our hosting and email providers process the information needed to operate the site and deliver email.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe using the link in newsletter emails or the unsubscribe page. An unsubscribe record may be retained to prevent future mailings. Contact admin@playmateria.com to ask about your information or request deletion.

Technical information

The newsletter service uses cookies where needed for sessions and preference management. The hosting provider may record connection and security logs and use performance monitoring. Newsletter delivery, bounce, open and link-click information may be recorded by phpList when those features are enabled.
